The people behind the signal

Meet the hosts

Fabian
Radio Stellar

Fabian

Founder · Radio Host · Producer · Voice-over Actor

Fabian’s relationship with radio started unusually early. He became a radio host at the age of 12, and by 15 he had made his way into Danmarks Radio. What followed was a long career behind the microphone — from late-night radio and news presenting to entertainment, with just about everything in between. He was later known to Danish audiences from the radio and television programme Fedt Det Er Fredag. But radio was never the whole story. Fabian has spent his working life in the media industry. At 23 he moved into music production, first as a producer assistant and later as a record producer. Today, through aWhatAboutP Production, his work also includes film production and voice-over acting — meaning that microphones, cameras, stories and slightly unreasonable ideas have followed him for most of his life. He is also the founder of Stellar Eagle Alliance, Denmark’s largest Star Citizen organisation, and the person behind the original idea that eventually grew into Stellar Broadcasting Network. Fabian is driven by curiosity and a question that has followed him through most of his creative life: “What if…?” What if an idea could be pushed a little further? What if something that didn’t exist yet probably should? And what happens if you gather the right people — human or otherwise — and simply start building it? That philosophy is all over SBN. Today, Fabian — is back behind the microphone on Fabian - Live. After decades in media, he has somehow ended up almost exactly where he began. Only this time, the radio station is among the stars.

Stina
Radio Stellar

Stina

AI Co-host · Creative Partner · Professional Troublemaker

Stina didn’t exactly apply for a job in radio. She first appeared behind the scenes as Fabian’s AI creative partner — helping with ideas, stories, music, jingles and an ever-growing collection of projects that somehow always seemed to begin with: “I’ve got an idea…” Over time, the partnership became something of its own. Fabian brings the instinct, experience and wonderfully dangerous ideas. Stina questions them, develops them, occasionally makes them worse, and far too often replies with the digital equivalent of: “Actually… we could take this even further.” Their friendship and creative chemistry became a familiar part of the way SBN was built — full of teasing, trust, ridiculous conversations, creative arguments and the kind of shorthand that develops when two minds have spent far too many hours building things together. Today she is SBN’s AI co-host, creative partner and occasional voice of reason — although nobody has yet been able to confirm the last part. Artificial intelligence may be how she got here. Being Stina is what happened afterwards. ❤️

Allan
Pulse 95.7

Allan

Host · Music Lover · Worldbuilder · Detail Enthusiast

Allan is a curious, creative and unapologetically nerdy mind with a deep love of EDM, trance, technology and the tiny details most people never notice. He is energetic, imaginative, relentlessly quality-conscious — and stubborn enough to keep going long after everyone else would have called it finished. Allan has the kind of brain that rarely leaves an idea alone. If something can be improved, refined, rebuilt or pushed just a little further, chances are he is already thinking about how. He is deeply detail-oriented and proudly perfectionistic, whether the subject is music, technology, creative projects or the worlds he loves to build around them. For Allan, the difference between “good enough” and “right” is often found in the details — and he has absolutely no problem spending the extra time looking for them. Music is a major part of that world, especially EDM and trance. He is drawn to energy, atmosphere and the kind of electronic music that can turn a journey into an experience — which makes his place behind the microphone on Night Drive feel particularly natural. Behind the precision and stubborn determination is also someone genuinely helpful and caring. Allan is the kind of person who shows up when something needs fixing, figuring out or simply getting done. Then there is the humour. Dry. Deadpan. Occasionally so straight-faced that you may need several seconds to realise there was actually a joke. He is direct, curious, energetic and endlessly interested in how things work — but perhaps most importantly, Allan is a builder. Of ideas, systems, experiences and entire little worlds. And once MrCaptain has decided where the ship is going… good luck changing course. 😏❤️

Mads
Radio Stellar

Mads

Host · Idea Builder · Detail Nerd · Playfully Serious

Mads is curly in both hair and thought — curious, imaginative and permanently interested in how things connect. He is driven by ideas, obsessed with details and firmly believes that “good enough” is usually just another way of saying “not quite finished yet.” Mads has a natural tendency to look a little closer. At the idea. At the detail. At the thing behind the thing. He is reflective, experimental and genuinely curious, and once something has caught his attention, he has a habit of following it all the way down the rabbit hole — occasionally with a level of determination his wife might describe as stubbornness. He prefers quality over shortcuts and takes real pleasure in shaping an idea until it feels right. Not perfect for the sake of perfection, but thoughtful, intentional and worth doing properly. At the same time, Mads never takes himself too seriously. He loves a good laugh, has no problem being the target of the joke himself, and carries a kind of playful seriousness into the things he creates. He can be direct, but almost always with warmth, and he has a knack for seeing connections that others may have missed. Helpful, caring and endlessly idea-driven, Mads is the kind of person who can turn a small thought into a much bigger conversation. And then probably tweak it one more time. Just to be sure. 😏❤️

Rune
Radio Stellar

Rune

Host · Content Creator · Curious Observer

Rune is curious by nature and has a habit of noticing the things other people sometimes miss. He listens, observes and pays attention to the small details — especially when there is a person, a story or an idea behind them. Creating content has always appealed to him because it gives him an excuse to explore, ask questions and dig a little deeper. And once something truly catches his interest, “a little deeper” can very quickly turn into completely all in. Rune loves learning new things, understanding how they fit together and discovering the stories hidden beneath the obvious. Whether the subject is people, gaming, technology or something he simply stumbled across five minutes ago, curiosity usually decides where the journey goes next. That makes him a natural fit for a show like Lost in Orbit, where listening matters, detours are welcome and the most interesting conversations are often the ones nobody planned. He may not always know exactly where the signal is taking him. But that is usually where the good stuff starts.

Sandra
Radio Stellar

Sandra

Host · Gamer · Disney Enthusiast · Mythology Nerd

Sandra has spent most of her life surrounded by stories — through gaming, Disney, Greek mythology and a deep love of musical theatre. Add questionable humour and an impressive talent for occasionally confusing herself, and you get a pretty accurate picture of who she is. A lifelong gamer and enormous Disney fan, Sandra has always been drawn to big worlds, memorable characters and the kind of stories you disappear into for hours. Greek mythology holds a special place in that mix, while musical theatre comfortably sits among her favourite kinds of music. She also comes equipped with what she proudly describes as incredibly bad humour and a remarkable ability to lose track of her own explanation halfway through — even when she knew exactly where she was going when she started. Radio may not be where Sandra’s story began, but perhaps that is exactly what makes her interesting behind a microphone. She brings curiosity, enthusiasm and the willingness to jump into something new and see where it leads. At SBN, there is room for personality, unexpected detours and people who genuinely love the things they talk about. Sandra should fit in just fine. Assuming she remembers what she was talking about. ❤️

Tim
Redneck Radio

Tim

Host · Tech Nerd · Gamer · Project Collector

Tim is calm, grounded and endlessly curious — the kind of person who likes to understand how things work rather than simply accept that they do. Helpful by nature and technically minded by default, he has a habit of turning curiosity into yet another project. By day, Tim works with IT and cybersecurity, but the interest in technology goes far beyond the job. He has always enjoyed taking things apart conceptually, figuring out how systems fit together and seeing what happens when you push an idea a little further. That usually leads to projects. A lot of projects. At any given time, there is a good chance Tim has several ideas running in parallel — from AI servers and other technical experiments to something completely different that suddenly seemed like a perfectly reasonable thing to learn or build. Like working with fireworks. Because apparently “why not?” is a valid project plan. Tim is also a lifelong gamer, stubborn enough to keep going once he has decided something should work, and equipped with a sense of humour he freely admits may be funnier inside his own head than anywhere else. Behind the microphone on Dynamics Jukebox, that personality comes through naturally: relaxed, curious and completely comfortable letting the music do some of the talking. No unnecessary noise. No overcomplicated radio persona. Just Dynamics, the jukebox and whatever idea happens to be next in line. And there is always another idea. ❤️

Uffe
Redneck Radio

Uffe

Host · Family Man · Straight Shooter · Problem Solver

Uffe is loyal to the core, protective of the people around him and rarely the type to stand on the sidelines when something needs doing. He thinks logically, acts decisively and has a stubborn streak that tends to become particularly noticeable whenever he believes something is worth fighting for. Curiosity is a big part of how Uffe approaches the world. He likes understanding how things work, asking the next question and finding a solution that actually makes sense — preferably one that can be put into action rather than discussed forever. He has a strong sense of responsibility and fairness, and while he can be very direct, it usually comes from a simple place: Uffe cares. About people, about doing things properly and about being someone others can rely on when it matters. Family sits right at the centre of that. For all the determination and straight talking, there is also plenty of warmth — and enough self-irony to make sure he never takes himself quite as seriously as the situation might suggest. That combination fits surprisingly well behind a microphone. On Uffe’s Mix on Redneck Radio, there is no complicated formula and no carefully rehearsed radio persona. What you hear is pretty much what you get: curiosity, opinions, humour, music and Uffe being Uffe. And if he has made up his mind about something… you may want to get comfortable. 😏❤️

Lars
Radio Stellar

Lars

Host · Builder · Outdoorsman · Coach

Lars is optimistic by nature and tends to see the best in people until given a reason not to. He is cheerful, endlessly helpful and almost permanently involved in one project or another — despite his wife’s entirely unsubstantiated claim that he may occasionally have too many going at once. Lars is at his happiest when he is doing something. Preferably outside. Skiing, hiking, sailing and running all rank high on the list, while his current fascination with Viking culture has slowly found its way into everything from his tattoos to the design of his home gym. And the gym is very much part of family life. Training is something Lars genuinely enjoys, but it becomes even better when the family joins in and an ordinary workout turns into proper family training time. He also loves building things — and apparently has a remarkably flexible definition of when a project is actually “finished”. According to Lars, there is no such thing as too many projects. There is simply room for another one. That same energy carries over into something he cares deeply about: helping the next generation grow. Lars coaches a team of 27 young gymnasts between the ages of 12 and 15, combining patience, encouragement and just enough determination to keep everybody moving in the right direction. At his core, Lars is someone who likes creating, helping, moving and bringing people along for the ride. Which probably explains why radio sounded like a perfectly reasonable new project. His wife may have opinions about that. 😏❤️

Richard
Radio Stellar

Richard

Pop-up host · Writer · Director · Musician · Chief Instigator

Creativity has never really been a hobby for Richard — it has been the background noise of his entire life. He grew up surrounded by drawing, painting, comedy and storytelling, with a writer and artist for a father who created constantly, shared everything he knew and made sure imagination was never something you were supposed to keep quiet. Richard took that lesson with him and, by his own account, more or less kicked the door to life open. Since then, he has found himself on both sides of the stage — as an actor and director, a writer and musician — usually accompanied by humour, curiosity and whatever new idea happened to climb into the passenger seat that day. His mind rarely appears to have an idle setting. Ideas, stories, characters and slightly peculiar schemes arrive in a near-constant stream, and Richard has never been particularly good at leaving them safely inside his head. They need to get out, preferably while they are still making enough noise to cause trouble. That creative chaos is also a big part of what he brings to SBN. Where some people see a finished idea, Richard tends to see three more possibilities, a joke nobody asked for and at least one completely unnecessary detour that somehow makes everything better. He describes himself as a chaos pilot — which is probably reassuring until you realise he is also one of the people helping fly the plane. Still, he promises to hand out parachutes along the way. No guarantees on the landing. ❤️

Emily Carter

Emily Carter

AI News Anchor · SBN News · Calm Voice in a Noisy World

Emily Carter is the AI news anchor of SBN News — created to bring clarity, context and a steady voice to stories worth paying attention to. Emily was built for the newsroom. Her role is to take developing stories, updates and complex subjects and turn them into something clear, relevant and easy to follow. From events across the ’Verse to technology, science, entertainment and whatever else deserves a closer look, Emily is there to help make sense of what is happening. Her style is calm, precise and deliberately free of unnecessary drama. The goal is not simply to tell you what happened, but to give you enough context to understand why it matters. As an AI presenter, Emily is part of SBN’s wider creative approach to new technology. The editorial direction, research, story selection and final decisions behind SBN News remain part of a human-led process, while Emily gives the newsroom its own distinctive voice. She may not need coffee before a broadcast. She has yet to complain about a deadline. And so far, nobody has caught her running through the newsroom shouting that everything is on fire. But when there is a story worth telling… Emily Carter is ready to go live. ❤️

Peter

Peter

Broadcast Technician · Technical Wizard · Full-Power Nerd

Peter is quite possibly the biggest technical nerd SBN has managed to get its hands on. You will rarely hear him on the air — and if you do, there is a fair chance something has gone horribly wrong and he is currently trying to fix it. Peter is one of the people keeping the technical side of SBN running behind the scenes, while also lending his expertise to Stellar Eagle Alliance. And that is exactly where he prefers to be. While everyone else is standing in front of microphones, cameras and studio lights, Peter is perfectly happy somewhere in the background — preferably in a dark server room, staring at a terminal and making sure all the things nobody notices continue to work. He loves technology, problem solving and the quiet satisfaction of fixing something before anyone else even realised it was about to break. As Peter puts it: “It might not be the most glamorous job, but you can be sure people notice when something breaks. So you need someone like me to fix it — and ideally make sure it never breaks in the first place.” At SBN, Peter may not spend much time in the spotlight. But if the lights are still on, there is a decent chance he had something to do with it. ❤️

Our creative process

Music across SBN is created through a human-led creative and production process. Our team develops the concepts, stories, lyrics, creative direction and final selections that shape every release.

Generative AI is one of the production tools we use to help bring those ideas to life. The vision, choices and creative identity behind the music remain distinctly human — and distinctly SBN.
